The Fraser River Discovery Centre (FRDC) is a not-for-profit interpretive centre whose mission is to bring together the many voices of the Fraser, to discover, celebrate, and inspire passionate stewards of the river. The FRDC has two floors of interactive exhibits and hosts education and public programs as well as special events. In 2020 the FRDC entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Musqueam Band with the intent to develop the Fraser River Discovery Centre as xʷtatəl̕ləm, a Place of Learning about the Indigenous heritage and teachings of the Fraser River. The FRDC is a perfect stop along the New Westminster boardwalk and a unique window into the past, present, and future of the mighty Fraser River!
